NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Royal City in the Council Chambers, 445 Camelia St, NE, Royal City, WA, on November 18, 2014, at 7 pm.
The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from low- and moderate-income persons and persons residing in the Royal City area.
Single jurisdictions may be eligible to receive up to $24,000, and in some cases up to $35,000, to fund a planning project that principally benefits low- and moderate- income persons. Multiple jurisdictions may be eligible to receive up to $40,000.
