Annual Historical meeting moved

EPHRATA - The annual Grant County Historical Society Board meeting, which would normally be held on a Tuesday, will celebrated tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Nov. 11 was set aside because of the Veterans Day holiday.

The meeting will take place at 11 a.m. at the Ephrata American Legion Post, 276 Eighth Ave NW, Ephrata.

Guest speaker following lunch, for the Heritage meeting, will be Bob Skowronski. He will make a presentation about the history of the Rocky Ford and Crab Creek areas.

Crab Creek, which starts near Reardan and ends at Beverly is recognized as the longest ephemeral stream in North America.

If you wish to have lunch ($5) you are asked to call the Legion after 12 p.m. at 509-754-2761 or Rita Mayrant at 509-750-4555.

Museum members and the general public are invited.
