Royal's Maggie Delay wins district long jump

ROYAL CITY - Maggie Delay won the long jump to highlight Royal High's evening at the SCAC district track meet at Royal on Thursday.

Several Knight athletes will join Delay this Friday and Saturday at Eastern Washington University for the state track meet. Delay will also go in the pole vault, and Joe Lang will go in three events.

Zillah dominated the team scoring, piling up 168 points on the boys side and 152 in the girls competition. The Royal girls were second with 81.5 points, and the Royal boys were third with 60.
