Larry Clifton Anderson

Larry Clifton Anderson an 83-year-old resident of Moses Lake died peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 surrounded by his 6 children in his home at Pioneer Village. He was born "in a bakery" in Rexburg, Idaho to Clifton and Ruth (Buck) Anderson. Larry spent his youth working alongside his father in American Falls, Idaho

Larry married Norma Joyce Corbridge on July 24, 1952 in the Idaho Falls Temple. They remained married for 48 years and lived happily together until her death on December 5, 2000.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran who honored and held the American Flag in the utmost esteem. He was a volunteer in the Boy Scout program for 65 years and received the Silver Beaver, a distinguished service award, in 1982.

Larry was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served two temple missions. Larry was able to visit 80 plus Temples worldwide.

He is survived by his six children and their spouses: John (Beth) Anderson; Jimmy (Kelly) Anderson; Paul (Viki) Anderson of Moses Lake, WA.; Susan (Gary) Kildow of Nampa, ID.; Karen (Robert) Nelson of Seattle, WA.; Bonnie (Douglas) Baker of Wasilla, AK.; 26 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley Madsen and Sharon Feltstad of Idaho Falls, ID. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Joyce, three sisters, and great-granddaughter Madison Claire Camp.

Viewing will be from 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, May 27th and Wednesday, May 28th from 9 - 9:45 a.m. with Funeral Services at 10:00 a.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Moses Lake Stake Center, 1515 S. Division St., Moses Lake, Wash. Burial with military honors will follow in Pioneer Memorial Gardens, Moses Lake, Wash.
