His Memory Lives On

For over 15 years, individuals and organizations in our community who go above and beyond in preventing substance use have been recognized at the Bob Skidmore Prevention Recognition Event.

Bob Skidmore got involved with substance use prevention when he lost his son to an impaired driver in 1993. He turned his tragedy towards something positive. He did not think of himself, but how he could help others. This event continues annually in his memory.
