ASB fundraiser this Thursday for Wahluke Junior High
There will be petting zoo animals to pet and ponies to ride Thursday night at the Wahluke Junior High School carnival. The animals are provided by Seth Weeks and Rich and Tracy Arlt. Russell and Lakota are the riding ponies.
MATTAWA - If you enjoy seeing your children involved in school activities, you'll have a chance to show it Thursday evening, May 29.
The Wahluke Junior High will have its annual carnival from 5-7:30 p.m., and the entire community is invited. It will be Western themed.
"It is a fundraiser for the Wahluke Junior High ASB and student activities," Dean of Students Sean Langdon said. "It benefits the junior high kids as well as the community."
You may bring your families and friends. There will be bouncy houses, a petting zoo, and pony rides. There will be lots of carnival games and fun activities for all children and adults to enjoy.
"Bring your appetite," Langdon said. "There will be plenty of food, including nachos, hot dogs and Horchata."
"We are excited to have the community participate in this years Spring Carnival," Langdon added. "We appreciate all of the help that has gone into the planning to make this a spectacular event once again. Special thanks to Seth Weeks for the petting zoo, Tracy and Rich Arlt for the Pony rides, and Esteban Garcia for running the bouncy houses."
