Pick-up truck collides with train near Warden
WARDEN - One man was sent to the hospital after being injured in a collision involving a train and pick-up truck Thursday about 10 miles north of Warden.
Emergency personnel responded about 6 p.m. to a collision near Road 3 Southeast. The driver in the truck, who was not identified Thursday, was flown to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland. He was reportedly conscious and talking when flown from the scene, according to the sheriff's office.
Road 3 Southeast between Road S and Road U Southeast were closed for several hours as deputies investigated the crash. No other details were available Thursday.
