Shots fired in Larson Housing area Tuesday

MOSES LAKE - Several people were seen running from outside an apartment complex after reports of shots fired in the Larson Housing area Tuesday.

Residents reported hearing at least three shots fired about 9 p.m. in the area of the Chaparral Apartments on East Craig Street. Several suspects were seen running in different directions after the shots were fired. They reportedly circled back to the area and left in a silver passenger car and a white passenger car parked on Craig Street and headed toward Patton Boulevard. The suspects fled before deputies arrived, according to police reports.

One gunshot hole was found in the plastic slat of the fence that runs along the road. Nobody was injured in the incident.

Witnesses were unable to provide a clear description of the suspects or the vehicles, according to the sheriff's office.

No other details were available Wednesday.
