Sharia law discussion Tuesday in Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE - Act! For America Washington State Director Kerry Hooks is speaking Tuesday in Moses Lake about Islamic Sharia law in the U.S. and how it may be affecting the country.

The event is part of the Moses Lake/Grant County Tea Party Coalition meeting, which begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Porterhouse Steakhouse, located at 217 N. Elder St. Those in attendance can also buy dinner for $14, which includes a burger, fries, coleslaw and watermelon.

Hooks was named Act! For America Chapter Leader of the Year in 2013, and will be discussing what Sharia law is and why it could be threatening the country. Act! For American is a grassroots organization dedicated to stopping the encroachment of Sharia Islamic law and Jihad, in any form, in Washington and the U.S.
