The Port of Moses Lake is seeking a qualified contractor to construct Taxiway C Rehabilitation at Grant County International Airport at Moses Lake, Washington.

TAXIWAY C REHABILITATION

The Port of Moses Lake is seeking a qualified contractor to construct Taxiway C Rehabilitation at Grant County International Airport at Moses Lake, Washington. The major construction elements for the project include crack sealing, approximately 60,000 square yards of pavement seal coat, pavement marking removal, and pavement marking. Additive bid items include crack repair, approximately 40,000 square yards of pavement seal coat, and additional pavement marking removal.

Sealed bids shall be addressed to Port of Moses Lake, 7810 Andrews Street NE Suite 200, Moses Lake, WA 98837, and will be received until 2:00 p.m., local time, on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, and then will be publicly opened and read. Bids submitted after the above-specified time shall not be received or opened.

A copy of the Documents may be obtained from the Engineer's Corvallis office upon payment of $35.00 for each Document. Return of the Documents is not required, and the amount paid for the Documents is nonrefundable.

This contract is for a public work subject to the State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries, and/or the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141, et seq). The Bidder must agree that the requirements and conditions of employment be observed and minimum wage rates as established by the U.S. Secretary of Labor or the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, whichever is higher, be paid under the Contract.

No bid for a construction contract shall be received or considered by the PORT OF MOSES LAKE unless the Bidder is registered with the Washington State Department of Licenses, as required by RCW 18.27.

An optional pre-bid conference will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at the Port of Moses Lake, 7810 Andrews Street NE Suite 200, Moses Lake, WA 98837. A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference.
