Cause of Tuesday's fire undetermined
A fire Tuesday destroyed a Moses Lake duplex and a vehicle parked in the garage. Nobody was injured in the fire.
MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Fire Department is still investigating the cause of a house fire Tuesday night.
Fire Chief Tom Taylor said the fire may have been due to an electrical problem, but is officially considered undetermined.
Firefighters responded about 6:30 p.m. to Terrace Avenue for a single-level house fire. Taylor said the fire was heavily involved when crews arrived. The fire reportedly spread into the attic, an attached carport and an outbuilding in the back of the home. The residence and outbuilding were destroyed in the fire. A vehicle parked in the carport was also destroyed.
One person was reportedly inside the home and able to get out unharmed.
