Ephrata boys take Grandview Invitational

GRANDVIEW - Ephrata boys golf shot the lowest score and nabbed first place at the Grandview Invitational recently.

Led by Aaron Whalen's 72, the Tigers shot a combined 328 on the day, narrowly edging second place Hermiston who recorded a 330.

Ephrata's Zach Dwyer and Josh Johnson scored an 81 and 85, respectively.

Othello took fourth place with a team score of 355. Tyler Amoruso was the low man for the Huskies after shooting an 81.

Ben Garza recorded an 87 while Ethan Towle scored 90.

Royal and Warden finished 10th and 12, respectively.

Collin Christensen's 93 was the low score for the Knights.

Conner Haynes shot an 85 for the Cougars.
