Helenann J. Holmes

Helenann J. Holmes, 86, a longtime Moses Lake resident passed away March 19, 2014 in Vancouver, Washington, her daughters at her side. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Guarding Angels Cemetery, 2595 Road L NE, Moses Lake. Helenann was born in Custer, Washington on March 27, 1927, daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Brown) Neidhart. She was raised and educated in Wenatchee, Washington. She moved to Moses Lake in the 1950's to raise her children. As a mother, her children were blessed to have had her; her grandchildren adored her. She was involved in the lives and activities of her children and grandchildren, always reminding them how proud she was of them.

Helenann enjoyed gardening, making jam, and family dinners. She loved spending time with her family. She was a past member of the Lady Lions.

She is survived by two daughters, Dotty Holmes, Moses Lake and Noreen Roth, Washougal, WA; one son and daughter-in-law, Coke (Mary) Roth, Kennewick, WA; seven grandchildren, Brandon John, Derek John, Jennifer John, Ashley John, Casey Roth, Franklin Roth and Soleil Roth; two step grandchildren, Cami and Chris; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Charlene Mosca and Susan Hofheinz; one brother, Don Neidhart; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Donette and a grandson, Gabriel John.
