Linda R. Alvarado

Linda R. Alvarado, 66, longtime Royal City resident, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, Wash.  Linda was born May 12, 1947 in Seymour, Texas to Juanita Reyna and Raymond Costilla.

She married Macario J. Alvarado on August 15, 1964 in Royal City, Wash.  She occasionally worked outside of her home, but most of all she lovingly cared for her family.  She enjoyed fishing, sewing, volunteering in her community, and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a member of St. Michaels the Archangel Catholic Church in Royal City, Wash. 

She is survived by her beloved husband Macario Alvarado, of Royal City, Wash., children Christine (Johnny) Holcombe of Bremen, Georgia, Cynthia (Tomas) Cera of Royal City, Wash., Junior (Maria) Alvarado of Moses Lake, Wash., Gilbert (Jackie) Alvarado of East Wenatchee, Wash., Esther (Antonio) Rodriguez and Cecilia (Jesus) Moreno all of Royal City, Wash.; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, several siblings and her mother-in-law Sara Alvarado.

Viewing will be held from 2 - 6 p.m., today, with Funeral Services at 5:00 p.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 145 Daisy St. NW, Royal City, WA  99357.
