Royal students of month chosen
The Royal High School Students of the Month for February are freshman Giobanny De La Cruz, sophomore Morelia Juarez, junior Marco Soto-Araujo and senior Franky Godoy.
ROYAL CITY - The Royal High School teaching staff has chosen the school's Students of the Month for February.
The teachers make their vote from among a list of nominees developed by counselor Mark Kondo. They are nominated for several character traits, including academics and citizenship.
The freshman SOM is Giobanny De La Cruz, son of Leobardo and Alicia De La Cruz. The sophomore honoree is Morelia Juarez, daughter of Enrique Juarez.
The junior SOM is Marco Soto-Araujo, son of Marco Antonio and Maria Esperanza Soto-Araujo. The honored senior is Franky Godoy, son of Mario and Sandra Cortes Godoy.
