WENATCHEE - Wenatchee Wild goaltender Chase Perry is continuing his hockey career at the collegiate level.

Perry has committed to play for the Colorado College Tigers next season.

The Andover, Minn. native is in his first year with the Wild and boasts a goals against average of 2.32 and a saves percentage of .907.

"We are extremely happy for Chase and can't wait to see him continue his career at Colorado College next fall," assistant coach Chris Clark said. "Chase has worked hard from day one way back in August. It is great that all his hard work has resulted in him getting an opportunity to play for the Tigers next season."

Colorado College competes in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference with Denver, Miami Ohio, Minnesota Duluth, Nebraska Omaha, North Dakota, St. Cloud State and Western Michigan.

"Colorado College is not only getting a fantastic goalie but an even better person," Clark said.

The Wild host the Port Huron Fighting Falcons Friday and Saturday before closing the regular season against the Aberdeen Wings March 28 and 29.
