Reader encourages weed control

Last year our town was taken over by goat head weeds.

This year I'm having everyone take their shoes off at the door. I'm desperate. Everyone needs to spread the word in order to get these little weeds early on. If we don't get them now through the spring we are really going to suffer with them so bad this year and it's very painful to get stuck in the foot by one tiny little goat head.

Kids really suffer from these. The smaller the child, the worse it is because when they step on them they put their hands on the ground and then all fours are stuck with these horribly painful weed that looks just like a goat's head when you get a good look up close.

I'm pleading with everyone to please get the weed killer out while the kids are in school and kill kill kill.
