CHS Harvest for Hunger seeks community support

ROYAL CITY - CHS Sun Basin is gathering donations of money, food and crops as part of CHS Harvest for Hunger food and fund drive

CHS Sun Basin will accept contributions through March 20 at its locations in Quincy, Royal City, Bruce, Wheeler and Kennewick, and deliver them to regional food banks.

"Hunger is a reality for more than 50 million people in America. That's one in six who doesn't have access to enough food," said Ron Kopczynski, general manager, CHS Sun Basin. "We're working together to make a difference for those in need."

Financial donations are encouraged because they enable food banks to leverage their buying power to provide nutritious food at deeply discounted rates.
