Moses Lake girls golf fifth at invite

MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake girls golf placed fifth at the Moses Lake Invite Monday with a team score of 181.

The Chiefs narrowly edged Othello, who finished sixth with a team score of 189.

Mt. Spokane took first place with a team score of 156. Mt. Spokane's Sierra Bezdicek shot the low score for the day in the individual standings with an 80.

Moses Lake's Desiree Guzman had the low score for the Chiefs, recording a 98, which was good for 13th. Othello's Elle Parris finished tied for 10th place with a score of 95.

The Chiefs' Terrin Utter and Emily Dennis each notched a score of 100, whole McKayla Chavez recorded a 104, good for 24th place.

The Huskies' Kristen Wolfs rounded out the individual standings with a score of 135.

Moses Lake will face Sunnyside March 25 at Black Rock Creek Golf Course.
