Jesus "Jessie" Rodriquez

Jesus "Jessie" Rodriquez was born on May 23, 1958 in Wharton, TX to Juanita and Florentino Rodriguez. After a short battle with cancer, he passed away with family by his side on March 13, 2014 in his home in Moses Lake.

He attended school and was raised in Moses Lake where he completed his GED in the U.S. Army. In 1980 he married Raquel and they had 3 kids together; in 1994 he married Wendy and helped her raise 2 boys. During his lifetime he worked a variety of jobs including truck driving, bus driving, roofing and carpentry. His hobbies included gambling, camping, BBQing and fishing. He especially enjoyed entertaining friends and family and spending quality time with his kids and grandkids - whom he cherished and was very proud of.

He is survived by his mother Juanita Rodriquez, sister Josie (Bob) Stevens of Ephrata, Domingo (Sandra) of Newport, Rudy (Luke Medline) Rodriquez of Florida, Hector (Maggie) Hernandez of Moses Lake; his children Clarissa of Oregon, Sarita of Kennewick, Jessie of Kennewick and stepsons Joaquin Sabedra of Oregon and Neeko Sabedra of Moses Lake; Grandchildren Khamryn, Robbie, Anais, Aaliyah, Araya, Jakobie, Alyna and step grandkids Axel and Alizay; along with many other family members and friends that will truly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his father Florentino, sisters Rosa, Carol, Celia, Herminia, Lupe, brothers Gilbert, Francisco, Rene and Jessie and many others.

Viewing for family and friends will be held in Carver Family Funeral Home, 1217 E. Wheeler Rd., Moses Lake, on Monday March 17, 2014 from 12 until 7 p.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Tuesday, March 18th at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 200 N. Dale Rd., Moses Lake, with Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:oo a.m. Burial will follow at Guarding Angels Cemetery.
