Man survives shooting near Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE - A man survived a shooting Friday night on Airway Drive Northeast.

At this time, deputies don't believe the shooting was a gang-related incident.

About 11:45 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in a home in the 4000 block of Airway Drive Northeast. Upon arrival, a man was found on the floor with a gunshot wound, according to the sheriff's office.

The man, whose identity was not yet released, was transported to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake and later taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

According to the sheriff's office, the suspected shooter was questioned on scene by responding police. No arrests have been made and police have not released the suspect's name.
