Larry Wayne Linderman

Larry Wayne Linderman, age 66, of Othello Washington, passed away at his home March 11th, 2014. He was born in Axtell Kansas on August 23rd, 1947 to parents, Alton Henry and Geraldine Linderman. Larry grew up in Louisville, Kansas and graduated from Wamego High School in Kansas. After graduation he moved to Washington to a new farm unit in Block 23 where he worked until summoned by the US Army in July of 1968. After basic training he spent six weeks at Fort Sill Oklahoma for Advanced Artillary Training. Larry was married to Dale (Skidmore) Linderman in Lawton, Oklahoma on November 22, 1968. Larry then served 19 months with the Service Battery 1st Battalion 92nd Artillery in the area around Pleiku Vietnam. After his service he returned to Othello, WA where he began his 38 year career at Evergreen Implement. After he left Evergreen he went on to work with his daughter at AV Labs, in Othello. A business that he and Dale invested in at its inception in 2001. He was the chief float builder for the Othello Community Floats for 12 years. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Larry had a "get things done attitude." He was an epic problem solver. Whether it was computer software, iron, electrical, mechanical or wood, he would fix it if it was broken. He enjoyed motorcycles, camping, fishing, and spending quality time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife Dale, and children; Vaughn (Doug) Pegram of Othello Washington, Lance (Melody) Linderman of Craigmont Idaho, and Brian (Julie) Linderman of Pasco Washington, Siblings; Randy (Sue) Linderman, Steve Linderman, and Judy Olson, grandchildren; Portia Nicholson, Kendra Linderman, McKenna Linderman, Kayla Frei, Breanne (Conrad) Martinez, Kayla (Jeremy) Brown, and Levi (Nakieta) Pegram. Larry also leaves 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles to cherish his loving memory. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Spencer Linderman. A commemorative gathering will be held at the Othello Eagles on Larch Street on Friday March 21st from 1:00 to 4:00pm.
