Robert E. Gilmore ballooned into the loving arms of God January 23, 2014. He was born April 13, 1957 in Greeley CO.

He grew up with electrician in his blood having learned from his grandfather and father.

He joined the army in 1976 and retired from the Washington National Guard in 1996. He started hot air ballooning after moving to Washington in 1988.

Bob is survived by his wife, Terese, daughters, Susan and Samantha, his father, Robert, sister, Cheryl, and brothers, Ed and Alan. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Jane.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Scharbach's Columbia Funeral Chapel, 300 G Street SE, Quincy, WA.
