'Treason' letter may have struck close to home

| June 27, 2014 6:00 AM

A friend remarked some people lack the courage or integrity to write letters that expose their real name. Their words are nothing more than flatus. The letter regarding "Treason" was a series of hypothetical questions, not specific to any person (or gender) but to specific situations.

If public opinion regarding our federal government is so low that such questions might be interpreted as specific to given individuals, I would simply point out it is the right and duty of the citizens to control the government. The government under the original US Constitution is supposed to be accountable to the citizens. We, the people, have a duty to replace any members of Congress who think the government is to control all aspects of life. The ballot box is our control. Have too many been elected who think "ivy league" education, super intelligence, or great wisdom can create a perfect society?

Is there a relatively small percentage of people who have wealth, political power, and support of media and education, that would like to see a utopia that will never exist? To live as they would like, would the Earth's population need to be as inscribed on the Georgia Guidestones? Do they think that if you are not a member of their elite class that you are not significant? Should we be asking if it is that elite class that controls the Federal Reserve, World Bank, and global economy? Does it have the world's population held in economic slavery?

Note: I judge people by their actions, and their respect of other people. I judge not by political labels, gender, or any other criteria. I feel free to comment regarding any person who has taken a sacred oath of office who does not understand the morality and wisdom incorporated in our original US Constitution and the first 12 amendments.

If you are objecting to these questions, are you really objecting to what would be truthful answer!
