Moses Lake swimmer excels in Spokane
SPOKANE - Moses Lake unattached swimmer Eric Kemper had a strong showing at a swim meet in Spokane recently.
SPOKANE - Moses Lake unattached swimmer Eric Kemper had a strong showing at a swim meet in Spokane recently.
Kemper finished in the top eight in all 12 events he swam, including a first place finish in the 50 meter fly with a time of 34.12 seconds.
Kemper also scored another win in the 200 fly after cutting 16.39 seconds in the event.
In the 200 meter individual medley, Kemper shaved 6.17 seconds off his time and recorded a personal best of 2 minutes, 59.23 seconds, good for a fourth place finish.
Kemper dropped 11.6 seconds in the 100 meter breaststroke and finished in sixth place. He also took second place in the 50 meter freestyle after dropping 2.17 seconds off his best time.
For the first time, Kemper swam the 200 meter backstroke and placed sixth with a time of 3 minutes, 39.30 seconds.
He also placed third in the 50 meter backstroke, sixth in the 50 meter breaststroke, second in the 100 meter fly and eighth in the 100 meter freestyle.
Kemper was able to drop his times in the 50 meter breaststroke, 100 meter fly and 100 meter freestyle.
