The Franklin County Horticultural Pest Board has an opening for a Board Member.

The Franklin County Horticultural Pest Board has an opening for a Board Member. To qualify, the individual shall either have a practical knowledge of horticultural pests and diseases or be a resident of the county, own land in the county, and be engaged in the primary and commercial production of a horticultural product or products. If there are no qualified applicants, a nonresident who owns land in the county and is engaged in the primary and commercial production of a horticultural product may be appointed. The term will be for 2 years from the time of appointment. The Board meets once a month March through September and there is no salary for this position.
