Dump rates go up for Mattawa

EPHRATA - The Grant County Board of County Commissioners has adopted new disposal rates at the Mattawa drop box collection site effective July 1.
For one cubic yard volume or more the new rate is $26 for non-compacted waste and $34 for compacted waste. The disposal rate for one-half cubic yard or less is $10.
All of the above rates include a 3.6 percent state refuse collection tax.
The Mattawa drop box is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 pm.
