QUINCY - Two people from East Wenatchee were injured after a Quincy driver turned in front of their vehicle Thursday on state Route 281 about five miles south of Quincy.

Thomas G. Ebling, 70, was driving a 2013 Honda Accord north on SR 281 approaching Road 5 Northwest. The driver of a 1993 Ford Explorer, Dylan L. Booth, 18, of Quincy, then tried to turn left onto Road 5 from SR 281 heading south. Ebling's vehicle struck the passenger side of the Explorer in the northbound lane, according to the State Patrol.

Ebling and his passenger, Alma Ebling, 70, were injured in the crash. Alma Ebling was transported to Quincy Valley Medical Center. Thomas Ebling was reportedly treated and released at the scene.

Booth and a 16-year-old boy in his vehicle were uninjured in the crash. Booth was cited for failing to yield.
