Warden man shares ideas for a better community
Recently in a Warden City Council meeting on June 10, I was impressed to see many residents address issues regarding loose dogs as many have been seeing loose dogs running around as one resident nearly ran a dog over with her vehicle.
I myself have seen loose dogs on county road way too many times on a daily basis as it has been a interference toward oncoming traffic and semi trucks. Warden officials and Warden police are now working on managing this issue. Another thing that was addressed was a city clean-up. Many properties are very poorly managed as there are weeds as long as two to four feet high. In my opinion, many of these properties can be areas where there could be more places for homes and apartments and more parks and facilities where family and friends can gather as it will look more inviting and a friendlier community.
I myself would like to see to it that it will get there, even if it takes 10 or 20 years from now and the state to fund it and fully staffed council members who can vision and have the passion to see that happen as well.
