Gary Ray Thiesfeld

Gary Ray Thiesfeld passed away suddenly June 7, 2014 at the age of 45. A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Moses Lake Alliance Church, 1100 N. Grape Drive, with Pastor Jody Bowser officiating. Interment will follow at Guarding Angels Cemetery, 2595 Road L. NE, Moses Lake. Gary was born September 10, 1968 in Spokane, Washington and raised in Moses Lake. He had a photographic memory which served him well on the Bible quiz team for Moses Lake Alliance Church in his teen years. Gary graduated from Moses Lake High School, Class of 1987. College years were spent at Big Bend Community College and Washington State University where he majored in general agriculture. He was a die-hard Cougar fan and an avid reader and great storyteller. He was employed by Cascade Agronomics.

He is survived by his parents, Leland and Charlene Thiesfeld; sister, Ciela Thiesfeld, Moses Lake; brothers, Israel Thiesfeld, Moses Lake and Sgt. Daniel Thiesfeld, USMC, Camp Pendleton, CA; faithful dog, Bonnie and best friend, Kassy Call; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Gary was preceded in death by a baby sister, Janice and his grandparents.

Gary will be greatly missed by his family as well as his Cougar buddies, Facebook friends and karaoke audience.
