SPOKANE - The Columbia Basin River Dogs continued their Summer schedule with the Whitworth Invitational in Spokane recently.

The club finished 3-1 and pushed its overall record to 9-4-1 overall after winning the Central Washington Classic and taking second at the Memorial Baseball Classic earlier in the season.

The River Dogs outlasted their opening round game with Spokane Expos, 11-9, before handling the Spokane Crew 10-5 in the team's second game.

Columbia Basin was tripped up in Game 3 by the Southridge Bandits, 2-1, and ended its tournament run with a win against the Everett Boys of Summer, 3-0.

The River Dogs will compete in the Kennewick Bandit Bash this weekend, June 13-16.
