Vern Gray

Vern Gray, 69, of Moses Lake, Wa, succumbed to cancer at his home, surrounded by his loving family on May 28, 2014.

Vern is survived by the love of his life; his wife Janice of 35 years, Son Steve, (Tammy), Daughters: Rochelle Rose (Jeff), Lisa (Chris), Step daughter Shelly Ann. Sisters: Chris (Fred) and Patti. Grandchildren: Alexa, Chandler Rae, Kayla, Brandon, Heidi and loving members of the Jesberger family (75+). Vern was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all.

Vern was a Vietnam Army/Air Veteran with several Air medals and later became a Territory Manager for Eco-lab. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed trap shooting ("The Long Shot Hero"), hunting, fishing and camping all throughout his life. He was known for his patriotism, humor, story-telling and generosity towards others. Vern recently had to say good bye to his loyal hunting dog (Mac) of 13 years shortly before his own untimely passing. He was always there to help friends, family and others with projects, coaching, mentoring or whatever else they needed him for.
