| July 25, 2014 6:00 AM

GEORGE - A Covington woman was injured on July 16 about two miles west of George when the vehicle she was driving on Interstate 90 rolled after a tire blowout.

Neither drugs nor alcohol were involved, the Washington State Patrol said.

Kasi L. Sturdivant, 23, was wearing her seatbelt. She was taken to Quincy Valley Medical Center by ambulance.

The 2000 Dodge Durango Sturdivant was driving was totaled. It was impounded by George Towing.

According to the WSP, Sturdivant was eastbound when a tire blew. She lost control of the Durango, and it left the roadway to the right and rolled. It came to rest on its passenger side off the roadway.

There were no charges, with the WSP blaming "tire failure."
