Manta Ray Aquatics thankful for support

The Moses Lake Manta Ray Aquatics swim team would like to send a thank you to the town and businesses of Moses Lake. This past weekend, we held our annual Sizzling Summer swim meet at the Surf and Slide Water Park. Teams from Canada, Idaho, Washington and Oregon brought their swimmers to excel in the water. It was one of our most successful, and probably one of the most fun of these annual meets. We appreciate the town of Moses Lake, and especially Tom Los, for hosting our meet and helping to ensure it's success. The staff of the waterpark are always helpful and efficient, and many comments were made of the friendliness of the lifeguards and groundskeepers, and the cleanliness of the area. We appreciate the people of Moses Lake, for giving up a Saturday and Sunday morning at the pool, to support the growth and develop of youth sports in our town. We appreciate the many, many businesses that su! pported our team through donations, advertisements, and products. Our program sheet was the biggest ever, filled with advertisements of so many local area businesses, as well as businesses from surrounding communities. We have been blessed with incredible support during our transition from bubble to building at the high school, and we are proud to represent the town of Moses Lake. A special thank you to Melea Johnson, of the Venue Magazine, for her continual dedication to helping our team succeed.
