Toon was born December 14, 1961, in Kruisland, The Netherlands to Harry and Catharina Loos.  He immigrated with his family to Bruneau, Idaho in 1969, where he enjoyed the experience of living in a ranching environment, unlike anything he had ever known.  This greatly influenced his lifestyle.

The family moved to Royal City in 1974 and Toon graduated from Royal High School in 1980. He became a US citizen in 1986 and remained proud of his Dutch heritage. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially liked working with horses and cattle.

Toon was preceded in death by his niece, Michelle. He is survived by his parents, Harry and Catharina Loos; brother, John Loos; sisters, Anka (John) Hough, and Maria (Rex) Lefler; nephews, Ryan, Reed, and Riley; nieces, Jacylyn, Megan, and Blake; and great niece, Melia.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the wonderful care given by all the staff at the Advanced Care Unit of Samaritan Hospital.

In honor of Toon's wishes, there will be no funeral service. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
