2014 Pendleton Roundup Queen and Court

Shaina Zollman

Queen Shaina Zollman is the 20 year old daughter of past Round-Up President Garry Zollman of Pendleton and Kathi Zollman of Bend. Her step mother, Becca Zollman, is a coordinator of the local Tough Enough to Wear Pink program. Shaina has been riding horses for sixteen years and served as Round-Up princess in 2013. Having graduated from Mt. View High School, Shaina now attends Lane Community College studying with an emphasis in biology. "The Pendleton Round-Up is one of the most unique events in the world," Shaina stated. "My family has been involved with it since the very first performance through the most recent. The people change and the grounds change but the feeling of 'Round-Up' and the sense of being home with your family never do," she added.

Kylee Jensen

Princess Kylee Jensen is the 20-year-old daughter of Karl and Jeannie Jensen of Pilot Rock, Oregon. Kylee graduated from Pilot Rock High School where she was very active in sports, student government, FFA serving as president and the salutatorian for her Class of 2011. She also was a 2010 Umatilla County Fair Court Princess. She now is an honor roll student at Oregon State University majoring in Agricultural Sciences with a minor in Animal Science. Her family's Round-Up involvement began in 1915 and Kylee has ridden as a pennant bearer in the Westward Ho! Parade for 10 years, and readied horses for OSU presidents and deans. "My love and passion for the Let 'er Buck city has always been prominent in my life," she stated, "I love telling people about its wonderful attributes."

Crystal Mitchell

Princess Crystal Mitchell is the 18 year old daughter of Dr. Christine Mitchell, DVM. Crystal was horseback before her first birthday and was a 4-H president growing up. As a National Honor Society Student, Crystal graduated from Pendleton High School where she rode on the Equestrian Team as Varsity Captain. She now attends Eastern Oregon University studying pre-pharmacy. She has been a pennant bearer for 8 years and Happy Canyon usher for 4 years. "I have not missed a Round-Up since birth," Crystal said. "Like many girls in Pendleton, having the opportunity to soar over the white fence in September while carrying on an American tradition that has been a dream of mine for 18 years."

Katy West

Princess Katy West is the 19 year old daughter of Clay and Mary West of Athena where she graduated from Weston McEwen High School active in volleyball, basketball, rodeo and FFA. Katy's extended family members have been longtime volunteers with parades and Happy Canyon. Her mother, grandmother, Carleen Krebs West, and several cousins have served as members of the Round-Up Court. She has been a pennant bearer herself for three years and last year was a parade volunteer. "I will be the fourth generation of my family to be involved with the Round-Up," Katy said. "It all started with my great grandfather, Jack French, who was a judge for the Northwest Bucking Contest." Her family has deep roots in Umatilla and Morrow county livestock industry as prominent ranching pioneers.

Kylie Willis

Princess Kylie Willis is the 18 year old daughter of Craig and Candi Willis of Enterprise Oregon. Her grandfather Harley Tucker, was a founder of the Chief Joseph Days, which Kylie served as 2012 Queen. Kylie graduated from Enterprise High school being very active in sports and served as officers in student government FFA, and National Honor Society. She now attends Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho majoring in Radiographic Science. Her family's Round-Up connections are vast. Grandfather Harley was a stock contractor, her grandmother Bonnie served as rodeo secretary. Kylies mother, grandmother, and some aunts and cousins have all served on the Pendleton Round-Up Court. "I am honored to represent the most famous rodeo in the world," proclaimed Kylie. "It means so much for me to continue one of the greatest traditions in my family."
