QUINCY – A Walla Walla woman and a Moses Lake man were injured in a 2-car collision June 30 four miles east of here at Highway 28 and Adams Road.

Neither alcohol nor drugs were involved, the Washington State Patrol said, and both drivers were using their seatbelts.

According to the WSP, the collision occurred when Ora R. Ottmar, 73, of Walla Walla failed to yield right of way at a stop sign in the 1998 Volkswagen Passat she was driving. She was northbound on Adams Road.

The Passat struck a 2012 Chevy Cruz, eastbound on Highway 28. It was driven by Charles Lambert, 51, of Moses Lake.

Ottmar was taken by ambulance to Quincy Valley Medical Center. Lambert was treated at the scene. Both vehicles were totaled. They were impounded by T&J Service.
