Philip Pipkin

| July 9, 2014 6:00 AM

Philip Pipkin was called to heaven suddenly on July 1, 2014. He did not leave this world without one last unselfish deed. Being an organ donor he will help many people.

A celebration of Philip's life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Moses Lake Alliance Church, 1100 N. Grape Drive. Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory.

Philip was born on August 20, 1947 in Toone, Tennessee, grew up in the Yakima area and graduated from Davis High School. He served in the US Navy during Vietnam. Philip and Cheryl Pipkin married May 9, 1970 and enjoyed raising their four children and seeing their grandchildren growing up to be the beautiful young adults they are becoming.

He had a variety of jobs, including truck driving, working for the State of Washington at weigh scales, cab driver, and freight delivery driver.

In his retirement Philip enjoyed traveling in his RV with his wife and three of his grandchildren.

Philip leaves behind three children, son-in-law, five grandchildren, brother, sisters, several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Philip joined his wife, mother, father, brother, son and granddaughter in heaven and will be missed by all that knew him.
