MOSES LAKE – A June 23 early morning drive-by shooting in the Larson Housing Area shook up many residents, but nobody was hurt, the Grant County Sheriff's office reported. ?At around 1:50 a.m. the MACC received multiple calls of shots fired in the area of 8900 block of Travis Drive. One caller reported a green car (possibly a Honda) with black wheels, leaving the area.

The vehicle was reportedly occupied by at least four persons. Deputies were in the area within two minutes but were unable to locate the vehicle. ?A short time later, a Washington State Trooper pulled over a green car with black rims at the North Stratford Mini Mart. The vehicle had five occupants.

The GCSO and Moses Lake Police department assisted with the high-risk stop. The occupants of the vehicle admitted to coming from the Larson Housing Area but denied any knowledge of the shooting.

Deputies conducted a consent search of the vehicle and did not locate any weapons. No arrests were made. ?Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Grant County Sheriff’s Office at 509-762-1160, or send information to crimetips@co.grant.wa.us.
