Man crashes motorbike near Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE — A man in his early 30s was taken to Samaritan Hospital after crashing his motorcycle Tuesday morning near Moses Lake.

The sheriff's office Motor Traffic Unit is investigating the crash as a possible DUI. The man's name has not been released.

Grant County Fire District 5, American Medical Response and sheriff's deputies responded about 9:30 a.m. to Bouldercrest Road Northeast near Connelly Park for the man who was reportedly found unconscious and not breathing after driving his motorcycle off the road and into the ditch. MedStar was initially put on standby but was later called off.

The man was alert and talking with emergency personnel before being transported to the Moses Lake hospital.
