Cars damaged in drive-by

MOSES LAKE – Grant County sheriff’s deputies are investigating an early morning shooting which damaged at least three cars on June 28.

Deputies received several calls around 1 a.m. for shots fired near Bong Loop and Daley Drive. Callers said a dark colored car – either a Honda or Subaru – was involved and was leaving the scene south on Travis.

Witnesses told deputies the shooting happened at 8924-A Travis Drive, and a person was seen running from the scene. Neither the fleeing car nor the running person could be found.

Deputies found two cars in front of the home with broken rear windows and evidence suggests another vehicle, possibly the car scene fleeing the scene, was also hit by gunfire.
