Reader supports Tom Dent, Rep. Judy Warnick for state legislature

Grant County citizens are very fortunate this election to have some very good, qualified candidates to chose from. An outstanding choice is Tom Dent.

With Judy Warnick running for the State Senate and the opening of her State House seat, we now have the opportunity to send another mature, experienced Republican, to Olympia.

Tom Dent has donated years of his life to serving the GOP and the community. He knows how to lead yet knows when to follow and take direction. This makes him eager and willing to carry your agenda to the State House not just his own. He is a tough, resilient cowboy with a big heart. He does things in a big way: ranching, including raising buffalo, being a member of the Sheriff's pose, and running his own crop dusting business for many years. One of his passions has been being a foster parent and adoptive father and encouraging others to foster.

Tom understands the needs of our agriculture and ranching community for water, grazing lands and property rights. He is ready to fight government encroachment on these rights but will work with the government when it benefits our state and county. He understands the needs of industry and the worker as well as issues affecting the small business owner.

You just could not have any better than Tom Dent to represent you in Olympia. So, be sure and send him there with your vote in the Primary and the November election!
