Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on June 19, 2014 from Western Agricultural Research & Production Inc. (Designated Contacts: Tony Wagner, 20600 Road 1 SE, Warden, WA 98857, 509-349-8094 and Bob Hesse, 2059 W. Bench Road, Othello, WA 99344, 206-669-7500) were found to be technically complete on June 25, 2014.

Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on June 19, 2014 from Western Agricultural Research & Production Inc. (Designated Contacts: Tony Wagner, 20600 Road 1 SE, Warden, WA 98857, 509-349-8094 and Bob Hesse, 2059 W. Bench Road, Othello, WA 99344, 206-669-7500) were found to be technically complete on June 25, 2014. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROJECT: This proposal is for the construction of one (1) approximately 44,855 sq. ft. steel potato storage facility on an approximately 20.75-acre parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: Building Permit. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is 20725 Road 1 SE, Warden, WA. It is located approximately 9 miles east of Moses Lake, WA, and approximately 1.20 miles southwest of the intersection of Interstate 90 and Road U SE (Exit 188), and approximately 0.50 miles west of the intersection of Road U SE and Road 1 SE, and in the NE quarter of Section 9, Township 18 North, Range 30 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #18-1157-000). PRESENT ZONING: Agriculture. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.
