Unbelievable season. Unbelievable team. Simply unbelievable!

The Super Bowl is getting to be a habit with the Seattle Seahawks - twice in nine years. Well maybe not quite a habit.

That's why I'm grateful for what the Seahawks have already done. No matter what happens Sunday, they've made fall and winter fun for Washingtonians and fans around the world.

One thing I can tell you for sure about Sunday is that I will be on the edge of my chair until the end. Unless it's a blowout in favor of Denver.

Two Sundays ago things were a bit crazy the length of the San Franciso game. Pat and I got home from a grandchild's birthday party in time to see the second half. And we couldn't believe each time we made inroads.

When Marshawn Lynch scored to make 10-10, Pat and I were saying things like: "Did you see that?" even though we'd seen it many times before.

When Russell Wilson hit Jermaine Kearse with a perfect pass to give the Hawks a 20-17 lead, Pat said: "Did you see that catch?" I said, did you see that throw?

We were so incredulous that we were still unsure when the game was won. After Richard Sherman's nearly unbelievable defensive play, Pat asked in all seriosness: "Does this mean we might win?"

We just won, I said. Then I realized there was a matter of 26 seconds. Pat and I crossed ourselves and prayed over the three kneel-downs.

The prayer went something like this: "Please don't fumble, please don't fumble, please don't fumble."

Now we have to go through this one more time at the Super Bowl. God help us.
