| January 28, 2014 6:28 AM

MOSES LAKE, Wash. (AP) - The Washington State Patrol says a trooper suffered only minor injuries when he was struck while he was outside of his car Monday night for a traffic stop in Moses Lake.

The trooper, 40-year-old Jeremy Weber of Waterville, was evaluated at the scene and did not require treatment at a hospital.

The patrol says the car that struck him failed to stop at the scene but was pulled over down the road. The driver, a 53-year-old Reno woman, was arrested for investigation of drunken driving, hit-and-run and reckless endangerment.
