Girls wrestling regional meet headed to Wahluke

MATTAWA - Athletic Director Cody Marlow has announced that the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association has chosen Wahluke High School as the host for this year's Girls Regional Wrestling Tournament.

"We will be hosting all girls from all classifications on the east side of the mountains who qualify for regionals," Marlow said.

The tournament will take place on Saturday, Feb. 15, in the Wahluke High School Gym, start time to be determined.

"As you may suspect, this event will require lots of help from the school and the community," Marlow said. "I am asking if any of you or someone else you may know would like to volunteer for this amazing event. There will be many things going on, and knowledge of the sport of wrestling is not required."
