Bids are requested by the Royal School District for the Royal High School Classroom Addition project.
Sealed Base Bids must be received by 5:00 p.m. local time on February 5, 2014, and must be marked Royal High School Classroom Addition Project – Base Bid. Sealed Alternate Bids must be received by 6:00 p.m. local time on February 5, 2014, and must be marked Royal High School Classroom Addition Project – Alternate Bids. Proposals received after these times will not be considered.
All bids will be received at the Royal School District Office, 901 Ahlers Road, Royal City, Washington, 99357.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read aloud at 6:00 p.m. local time on February 5, 2014.
General contractors may obtain two (2) sets and subcontractors may obtain one (1) set of contract documents from Design West Architects, 254 E. Main Street, Pullman WA, 99163. A check for a refundable deposit of $200.00 per set is required. Plan deposits will be returned to actual general contractor and subcontractor plan holders upon return of all contract documents to Design West Architects, PROVIDED HOWEVER, that said documents are returned in an unmarked and un-mutilated condition within ten (10) days of the bid date. A sepa-rate check for a non-refundable handling fee of $15.00 per set is required. Checks shall be made payable to Design West Architects. Contract documents will be available on January 20, 2014.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on January 29, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. at the District Office, 901 Ah-lers Road, Royal City, Washington, 99357.
No bidder may withdraw his bid after hour set for opening thereof, unless award is delayed for a period exceed-ing 60 days. The Royal School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in any bid.
