The Fishin' Magician

This usually the time of year to stay indoors and attend the various sports related auction and sport shows. Of course we aren't having a typical winter, but I still want to remind everyone about the auctions and shows coming up. The shows are always a great way to see what's new, learn something new through the seminars, and the auctions give everyone a chance to get some real bargains and give to organizations that do good work in our local area.

The next sport show coming up is the big one in Puyallup. This is the biggest one in Washington and is loaded with booths that are selling everything from boats and fishing tackle to fishing trip. It starts on January 22nd and runs through the 26th.

The auction that supports the great work done by the Wenatchee Sportsmen's Association is being held on February 8th this year, and I want to remind members to get their tickets at Hooked on Toys and High Mountain Hunting Supply in Wenatchee.

This is an important year for this auction as this group will be doing a lot of work to replace guzzlers and other damage caused by the fires that ravaged the Colockum last summer.
