Moses Lake 80 Eisenhower 41

After an up and down first quarter that saw the Chiefs lead 15-7, Moses Lake opened the second quarter on an 11-0 run and cruised to a 41-17 lead entering halftime.

"The first thing that we said is when we came in at halftime it sure seemed like we didn't start the game with a whole lot of energy," head coach Matt Strophy said. "Second quarter I thought we picked up, but at the start of the game not a lot of energy so let's start this half with more energy and I think we did that."

Strophy recently inserted junior forward Avery Clark into the starting lineup and she responded with six points against the Cadets. He said Clark had played her way into the starting lineup similar to last season.

"Over the holiday break we usually get a chance to reevaluate our statistics and some things like that and we were just making some adjustments," Strophy said.
