Franklin County is seeking letters of interest (applications) for one (1) vacancy on the Franklin County Planning Commission.
The vacancy is located in Planning District #3 (Eltopia Area). This District is generally located west of Highway 395, north of Sagemoor Road, and south of Russell Road. The District does cross over to the east side of 395 at a point north of the Rural Settlement known as Eltopia, along the north side of Blanton Road, west of Coordes Road, and south of Pepiot Road. People who live within the Unincorporated Area of Franklin County and within this Planning District are encouraged to apply. The Franklin County Planning Commission is a seven (7) member, non-paid, voluntary board that meets once a month in the evenings. The Commission makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on land development applications, ordinance/code updates, and other land use related issues.
